On a cold December evening in South Boston, the life of 38-year-old Maurice Scott was brought to a violent and tragic end. On December 5, 2015, at approximately 8:30 p.m., police responded to a call on Old Colony Avenue. There they found Maurice Scott lying on the ground next to his girlfriend's Mercedes-Benz, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
