On Saturday, March 2, 2019, a tragic incident occurred in Springfield, Massachusetts, when 37-year-old Eric Daniels lost his life to violence. The Springfield Police Department responded to a Shot Spotter activation in the vicinity of 53 Stebbins Street, where they found Daniels suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Upon arrival, officers confirmed that Daniels had been shot multiple times and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
