Antonio Williams, a 19-year-old man, was shot and killed on November 22, 2015, in Chicago. His body was found on a sidewalk in the Englewood neighborhood, a part of the city notorious for high rates of gun violence. Williams' death added to the mounting toll of young lives lost to gun violence in Chicago, a city grappling with an alarming number of homicides during that year.

Like many victims in similar incidents, Williams was remembered by family and friends as a loving and protective person. Known by several nicknames, including "Tonio" and "17 glizzy," he was described as outgoing and caring. His death is one of the many tragic examples of the violence plaguing Chicago, especially in neighborhoods like Englewood, where gang conflicts and street violence often have devastating consequences for young men.
