On April 14, 2021, at 6:18 p.m., a tragic incident unfolded in Eugene, Oregon, when a 39-year-old man, identified as Jeffrey Allen Chaney, arrived at the University District Hospital on Hilyard Street, near the University of Oregon campus, with a gunshot wound.
