Jessica Weishaar, a 43-year-old resident of Algona, Iowa, was tragically shot and killed on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, during an attempted bank robbery at the Security State Bank in Lu Verne, Iowa.

The incident involved a suspect identified as Valentino Williams, a 35-year-old man from Coralville, Iowa. Williams was charged with first-degree murder and robbery in connection with Weishaar's death. At the time of the incident, Williams was on parole.
