On a tragic afternoon in Salt Lake City, Utah, the life of a young mother was irrevocably altered by a brutal act of violence. Carolyn Yvonne Kingston, a 35-year-old White/Caucasian female, was working as a clerk at Natter's Market on September 2, 1971, with her two small children present in the store. An armed man entered the market with the intention of robbing it, setting in motion a chain of events that would ultimately prove fatal.
