On August 24, 2016, 4-year-old Madison Watson tragically lost her life in a deadly fire in Chicago’s South Side. The fire broke out in an apartment building located on Essex Avenue, killing Madison, her three-month-old sister Melanie, and another child, Shaniyah Staples.
