Jason Balboa, a 30-year-old male, was fatally shot on October 23, 2016, in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood. His body was discovered around 5 a.m. near 28th Street and Pulaski Road, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to a hospital, Balboa was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival. This tragic event occurred during one of Chicago's most violent years, as 2016 saw a sharp rise in homicides, with the city recording over 600 by October of that year.
