On June 23, 2016, Harold Donald "Tweety" Byrd, a 77-year-old resident of Little Rock, Arkansas, was fatally shot during a robbery at the Frontier Diner, a popular establishment located just off Interstate 30. Byrd, a retired Union Pacific railroad worker and a regular patron of the diner, was in line to pay his bill when two masked men entered the restaurant, brandishing handguns.
