On April 28, 2018, 25-year-old Oliver Johnson Jr., an off-duty police officer with the Forrest City Police Department, was tragically killed in his West Memphis, Arkansas, apartment. While spending time with his young daughter, Johnson was struck by a stray bullet that penetrated his residence during a gang-related shooting outside.
