On June 30, 2017, 22-year-old Alfonso Toro was tragically shot and killed in Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood. He was riding in an SUV with a woman named Gloria Aguilar, age 23, when a gunman opened fire on the vehicle, fatally wounding both occupants.
