In the spring of 2023, the life of 14-year-old Dedrick Washington was tragically cut short in Memphis, Tennessee. On March 17, the young Black male fell victim to gun violence. Born on August 13, 2008, Dedrick was the son of Felicia Washington and Dedrick Jackson. He was a brother to sisters Edneisha and Demiesha Washington, and a brother named Deadrick Washington.
