On a tragic day in Memphis, Tennessee, the life of 16-year-old Demariya Moss was cut short. On March 25, 2023, the young Black male was fatally shot in a townhome located in the Parkway Village neighborhood. The incident unfolded when a man allegedly forced his way into a residence and began shooting. Moss was killed in the gunfire, and two other people present were injured.
