On April 11, 2023, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, 12-year-old Sakenya Syretha Steele was tragically killed in a murder-suicide orchestrated by her mother, 40-year-old Ethel Syretha Steele. Authorities responded to a call around noon and, upon forcibly entering the residence on Brookhill Drive, discovered the bodies of Ethel Steele and her three children: 9-year-old Sakendra Syann Steele, 12-year-old Sakenya, and 14-year-old Sakenlo Shawn Steele Jr. Each had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. ...Read More
