Death by Force

On September 16, 2023, Fayetteville police responded to a 911 call from 73-year-old Gregg Melvin at his residence on Kara Court. Upon arrival, officers found Melvin with a self-inflicted gunshot wound; he was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
