On December 19, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Fayetteville, North Carolina, resulting in the death of 5-month-old Brooklyn Crumpler. The infant was initially reported as a victim of a shooting that took place in the 2200 block of Nicky Avenue. Brooklyn was rushed to UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill for treatment of her injuries.
