On a spring evening in Buffalo, New York, 14-year-old Jazzmine Fomby was caught in a burst of gunfire that ended her life. The fatal shooting occurred on May 4, 2024, near Jefferson Avenue on Alexander Place, where a large house party with at least 100 young people had been taking place.
