On a Thursday evening in southwest Atlanta, 36-year-old Nathan Adams, a Black male, was fatally shot on November 5, 2015. The incident, which also resulted in the death of 30-year-old Justin Hilliard, unfolded on Daniel Drive. Atlanta police officers responded to a call of shots fired around 7:15 p.m. and discovered Adams at the scene, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head. Hilliard was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital with gunshot wounds to the abdomen and leg, but he succumb ...
