On October 23, 1980, Sam Hubert Brown, age 65, was found dead in an empty lot in Immokalee, Florida. The homicide, which occurred under mysterious circumstances, left investigators with few leads. Brown’s body was discovered in a remote area, and initial reports indicated signs of blunt force trauma. He had been last seen alive a few days earlier, and neighbors reported no unusual activity or conflicts prior to his death.
