Jose Ascencion Espino Hernandez was a young man who tragically lost his life on August 14, 2000, in Immokalee, Florida. His body was found in a wooded area, and at the time, his identity remained unknown for several years. Espino Hernandez was eventually identified in 2016 through DNA analysis, following his family’s report of him missing that same year. The family, originally from Mexico, had not seen him since 1999, which was when they lost contact with him.
