On a Tuesday afternoon, January 23, 2024, the life of 15-year-old Black/African American male Mobarak Adam was tragically cut short in Seattle, Washington. A student at Chief Sealth International High School, he was found with a fatal gunshot wound to the torso inside a boys' bathroom at the nearby Southwest Athletic Complex, a community building he and other teens frequented.
