Marty Wade Stice, a 59-year-old man from Seminole, Texas, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident that occurred on April 30, 2023, in Hobbs, New Mexico. The Lea County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene in the early hours of Sunday morning, around 2:30 a.m., where they discovered Stice's body outside his home. He had suffered significant head trauma, which was later determined to be the result of a gunshot wound. An autopsy confirmed that Stice's death was a homicide.
