In the late hours of a Tuesday night in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, the life of 18-year-old Kenneth Demond Hathorn was tragically cut short. On January 17, 2023, deputies from the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a call on Railroad Avenue around 10:40 p.m. There, they discovered Hathorn inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. The young man, a resident of Donaldsonville, was rushed to a local hospital, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries.
