In a tragic event that unfolded in Jackson, Kentucky, 15-year-old Chloe Madison Little, a female, lost her life on Friday, June 16, 2023. The young girl was a victim of a horrific triple murder-suicide orchestrated by her own mother.
The incident took place at a residence on KY-3193, where Chloe lived with her 34-year-old mother, Ashley Little. On that Friday morning, a family member discovered an unresponsive female at the home and alerted the authorities.
When Kentucky State Police troopers arrived at the scene, they found four individuals deceased from gunshot wounds.
The investigation determined that Ashley Little was the perpetrator of the violent act. She had shot and killed her daughter, Chloe, her 78-year-old grandmother, Missouri Gross, and another relative, 58-year-old Luther Combs. After taking the lives of her family members, Ashley Little then turned the gun on herself, ending her own life. The Breathitt County coroner pronounced all four individuals dead at the scene.
Chloe and her mother resided in a mobile home on the property, while her great-grandmother, Missouri Gross, lived in an apartment situated above an attached garage at the same address. The motive behind the tragic event is still under investigation by the Kentucky State Police. As the sole suspect in the murders took her own life, no arrests were made in the case. The bodies were sent to the state medical examiner's office for autopsies to be performed.
