James "JD" Lumpkin, a 24-year-old resident of Middlesboro, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2024. His death was the result of a drive-by shooting that occurred on Winchester Avenue in Middlesboro. The incident took place just before 9:30 p.m. on the evening of June 6, with Middlesboro Police responding to the scene in front of Midnight Market.
