On May 3, 2023, Guriqbal Singh, 27, and his brother Dilrajpal Singh, 33, were fatally shot in the parking lot of the Barbur Square Strip Mall located along Southwest Barbur Boulevard near 30th Avenue in Southwest Portland, Oregon. The shooting was reported at approximately 2:45 p.m., and upon arrival, police found the brothers deceased.
