Colen Thomas, a 49-year-old resident of Tampa, Florida, was fatally shot on January 12, 2012. His death occurred during an attempted robbery at his home. According to reports, the incident involved David Rodriguez and two other men who went to Thomas's residence that evening. It was mentioned that Thomas knew one of the men involved.
