The suspected shooter, identified as Terrence Suggs-Nichols, 35, from Rowlette, Texas, shot himself in the head after killing Rogers and Munoz. Suggs-Nichols was taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
During the incident, a woman and two young children managed to escape the home unharmed. Another adult present at the scene suffered minor injuries and was found hiding in a common area.

The DuPage County Coroner's Office confirmed the identities of the victims and the suspected shooter, although the cause and manner of death are still under investigation.
