Misti Whitfield, aged 37, went missing on May 2, 2013, while walking alone in Tampa, Florida, in the area of West Hillsborough Avenue and North Rome Street. Her disappearance led to a prolonged search effort by her family and local authorities, who were desperate to find any clues regarding her whereabouts.
