On February 12, 2015, Carlos McGhee, 33, was shot and killed in front of a laundromat on Soutel Drive in Northwest Jacksonville. The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m., and McGhee died at the scene. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has been investigating the case and released surveillance images of a suspect seen running toward New Kings Road after the shooting.
