Leroy Benjamin, a 28-year-old from Jacksonville, Florida, was found dead on February 27, 2015. His body was discovered in a ditch on Harlow Boulevard by children walking to school, and authorities quickly classified the death as a homicide. Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) detectives responded to the scene and have since been investigating the circumstances surrounding his death. Leroy's body showed signs of trauma, which led investigators to suspect foul play.
