Bradla, known affectionately as "B," was a mother of three and grandmother to ten. The investigation into her death has remained open, with Detective Ray Reeves from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Cold Case Unit noting that the case was not a burglary, but likely involved someone familiar to Bradla. Investigators recently submitted new DNA evidence to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, in hopes of finding a match using advances in genetic genealogy.
