Antoine Joe, a 26-year-old former basketball player from St. Thomas University, and his friend Tyler Bradley Royal, 24, were fatally shot in Miami on August 19, 2023. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. on Sunday when someone opened fire on the vehicle they were in, which was located on NW 12th Avenue near the intersection of 42nd Street.
