Johnathan "Johnnie" Carter, aged 15, was tragically killed on July 6, 2016, near his home in the Lakeshore neighborhood of Jacksonville, Florida. Police responded to a report of a shooting around 5 a.m. in the 2200 block of Vista Avenue, where they found Johnnie had been shot. He would have turned 16 that same month.
