On May 4, 2021, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Phoenix Police officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex in the area of 5500 North 17th Avenue in Phoenix, Arizona. Upon arrival, officers found a 20-year-old male victim, Devon C. Bishop, who had been critically injured in the shooting. Witnesses reported hearing several shots, and a few minutes later, the victim was discovered by other witnesses.
