In the heat of a desert summer, on August 1, 2015, the body of 37-year-old Hispanic male, Horacio Macias-Jacquez, was discovered in a desolate area near Buckeye, Arizona. His remains were found near the intersection of Miller Road and Salome Highway, a location known for desert shootings. The cause of his death was determined to be gun violence.
