Eric John Garten, a 58-year-old resident of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away on April 13, 2019. Born on November 15, 1960, in Pasadena, California, Eric was the son of John and Anne Garten. He served in the United States Air Force for three years as an F4-G Wild Weasel Crew Chief, during which time he received a High-Speed Incentive Flight in the F4, possibly sparking his later passion for motorsport cycles.
