On August 4, 2020, 49-year-old Jerry Glass Jr. of Spokane, Washington, was fatally shot near Soldiers Meadow in Nez Perce County, Idaho. The incident occurred after Daren M. McCann, a 57-year-old resident of Lewiston, Idaho, discovered Glass allegedly burglarizing his cabin.
