Death by Force

In the late hours of a summer evening in Jerome, Idaho, a a 24-year-old Hispanic man named Jonathan Bonilla-Carvajal was fatally shot on August 14, 2020. The incident unfolded around 11 p.m. in the driveway of a residence at 811 W. Main St. When officers from the Jerome Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered Bonilla-Carvajal gravely wounded. He was immediately transported to St. Luke's Jerome Medical Center, but tragically succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
