In the early hours of a Saturday morning in Washington, D.C., the life of Walter T. Jones Jr. was tragically cut short. On September 9, 2006, at approximately 12:33 a.m., Jones, a male also known by the nickname 'Baba-Lu,' was fatally stabbed in the 3300 block of E Street, Southeast. The incident left a community in shock and his family grappling with a sudden and violent loss.
