On March 27, 1994, 25-year-old Angela Michelle "Angie" Worsham Cagle was working as a clerk at the Majik Mart convenience store in Huntsville, Alabama. In the early hours, a customer discovered her partially nude body in the store's storeroom; she had been shot twice in the face at close range. Investigators found evidence suggesting a struggle, including her clothing scattered nearby and foreign fibers on her body.
