On April 3, 2008, Jermaine Chambers, aged 26, was shot and killed while sitting in a white Lexus in front of 885 Chesapeake Street, SE, Washington, D.C. The shooting took place around 5:50 p.m. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the scene and has since launched an investigation into the homicide.
