On May 13, 2016, 28-year-old Caudereo Tyrell Roseman was fatally shot during an argument at the Alameda Terrace Apartments, located on the 1700 block of Alameda Court in Birmingham, Alabama. The altercation escalated when Samdrekus Eugene Bester, whom Roseman had just met, drew a firearm and shot Roseman multiple times, including additional shots while Roseman was on the ground. Bester also threatened other witnesses at the scene.
