On May 22, 2022, in Riverside, Alabama, 13-year-old Clara Vance was tragically killed in a murder-suicide incident involving her family. Authorities responded to a call about a suicidal individual at the Vance residence on Depot Street. Upon arrival, they encountered 54-year-old William Vance, who fatally shot himself as officers approached.
