On July 2, 2021, the Chilton County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a burned vehicle in a wooded area off County Road 5014 in Jemison, Alabama. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a badly burned SUV containing the remains of three individuals. The victims were later identified as 24-year-old Gabriel Alonzo Rios Jr., 37-year-old Gilberto Munoz Cabrera, and 36-year-old Javier Quintero Gonzalez, all from the Metro Nashville/Hendersonville, Tennessee area.
