In the winter of 2020, a life was tragically cut short in Leeds, Alabama. James Brody Sargent, a 19-year-old male, was killed by gun violence on January 20th of that year. Remembered as a kind-hearted and sweet boy, he was known for being a fierce protector of his friends and family, with a big, goofy laugh and a hearty smile. He was a graduate of Moody High School.
