Who murdered Dennis Oscar Lingaas in 1993?
In the spring of 1994, the quiet of the forest in Jefferson County, Colorado, was broken by a grim discovery. On April 7, a U.S. Forest Service worker stumbled upon human remains in the vicinity of Forest Service Road 695 and County Road 96. These remains would later be identified as those of Dennis Oscar Lingaas, a 48-year-old male who had vanished nearly a year earlier. His case is officially classified as a homicide.
