Toddler found unresponsive in her mom's boyfriends care
On January 22, 2000, 22-month-old Brooklyn DiGesualdo was found unresponsive at her home in Evanston, Colorado. Deputies responded to a report of an infant not breathing. Brooklyn had been left in the care of her mother’s boyfriend, who claimed she fell off the bed. However, after further investigation, foul play was suspected. The cause of her death remains undetermined, but law enforcement continues to treat it as a suspicious death, leaving the case unsolved.
