On August 2, 2013, Eric Benson, a 25-year-old from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was tragically murdered. The incident occurred in front of a home near the intersection of 50th and Hope streets.

Benson was shot a total of six times, with one of the bullets hitting him in the head. Despite the severity of the crime, the identity of his killer remains unknown to this day.
