An African-American man, 37-year-old Montrell Glover, died on the night of April 9, 2017, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, following a violent encounter that ended in a car crash. The events leading to his death began to unfold around 11:30 p.m. when Milwaukee police were dispatched to a residence near 80th and Beckett Avenue for a report of a battery. Upon their arrival, they found the residence empty.
